You'll discover pathways for turning your ideas into public-facing programs and community impact.
What you'll learn
In 30 minutes, discover how Extended Studies serves as a connector, collaborator and platform for new ideas. You'll see how the division links UC San Diego with communities, organizations and lifelong learners, and how it helps translate ideas, expertise and university resources into meaningful public engagement.
We'll explore opportunities to develop lectures, cultural programs, public events and community collaborations, and share examples of partnerships that bring together campus expertise, community organizations, artists, cultural leaders and other stakeholders. You'll also learn how organizations can bring an idea, opportunity or partnership concept to Extended Studies and what a good first conversation looks like.
